FOR-EVER

Imagine Squints from "The Sandlot" holding a flashlight under his chin. Yes, it has been forever since I have updated. I feel a lot busier than I did in Cali or maybe it's just that I have so many more amazing people to hang out with!

We're still living with Anne and Bob. In the basement of the condo. It's definately tight quarters down here but I don't mind it. I Love living and experiencing everything Caroline. I just felt so far from her and everything she was doing and becoming before (maybe cause I was?) I love being able to keep her during the day, making her laugh, and teaching her things. I've taught her a lifelong love for cats. I'm sure, right?! She at least, loves Jacy right now! It's hilarious how she perks up just at the sight of her. We missed so much in the beginning but we're making up for it now.

Derek is liking work in Peoria. He says he likes it better than San Jose (and I do too). His hours are much better. He just got out of busy season and the latest he worked was 9 or 10 compared to midnight or after in Cali. However, he did have to work some Saturdays which are never fun but still better than that late! I'm working PRN for an ortho clinic and love it. I wish they could give me full time! I will be covering for a maternity leave starting in May so that will be full time. I'm starting to realize I love PRN, I mean where else can you say "Nope, don't wanna work today" :) Not that I really do that but I love Thinking that I could!

The biggest news is.......we bought a house! We're so excited! We close in April and can't wait. It happened sooo much faster than orginially planned but when do things go as planned? :) It's a cute all brick ranch house with a backyard that backs up to the trail! I'm pumped about that! Everything needs to be painted inside and we're planning to do that before we move or at least the majority. I can't wait. We've completely moved in mentally just ready to do it actually! I wanted to post a pic but I don't have one! Stay tuned for them!
