Happy 30th Birthday Will!

Today is Will's birthday! I can't believe that he is 30! Thats crazy! He is having a party tonight that we, of course, aren't going to. I'm sure he'll have a ton of fun and I wish that we could be there. I am super glad that he and Michelle got to come out last weekend so we could spend some time with them. Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Side note: that's our BEAUTIFUL niece Caroline Rose when she was 3 wks........also the last time I saw her in person! :( I hear she's smiling now, can't wait to see that!

Side side note: Derek did not get home until midnight last night. He outdid he 11pm. Wow. Hope we don't have a repeat tonight!

Where Oh where is my husband?

So right it is 9:43 pm in San Jose, CA and I am STILL waiting for Derek to get home from work. He LEFT for work at 8am. Thats a long day. However, if he were to get home in the next 1/2 hour he would still be earlier than yesterday. Yes, yesterday he got home at 11pm. And hadn't even eaten dinner! CRAZY! He didn't seem all that upset by that but I was! How could a person eat lunch around 12-1 and then not eat until 11?!? NOT me, no way! I really admire the fact that he can stay at work that long cause for me as soon as 5pm comes, I cannot wait to get out of there. I mean it, I don't want to stay even 5 minutes over. Don't get me wrong, if I am with a patient I will and do it with a pleasant attitude but inside I am screaming to get home! So way to go honey, staying at your job for 13 hours.

It does really suck that he works that long, for one I don't get to see/talk to him much. I had to work today so when he got home last night, I was pretty much ready to go to bed. I stayed up for about a 1/2 hour to at least get to talk about his day but not much else. Thank God he wasn't at this client when we had the influx of visitors! I hope he calls me soon........

I hate to say goodbye

Will and Michelle have been here since Friday night and they leave tomorrow afternoon. They are the last of the visitors for a while. That makes me sad! :( Since we have moved I have had something to look forward to every month. That ends in April. After going home for Ali's wedding, that's it. I have to admit I am a little nervous about that. How will the months pass?!?

We have had a great time this weekend, though. We went to Monterey on Sat, San Fran after church on Sun, and I got to go shopping with them today! YAY! Although I have learned to do be ok shopping alone, I love to have people to shop with! Thought I'd post some fun pics from the weekend.

I gave in

I finally did it. I decided to create a blog. My sister has one and has been telling me to just do it. So while I feel motivated...... Ok, I have to admit, I love reading other people's blogs. Love it. Even if I don't know them and usually I don't. I am a self proclaimed snoop. Seriously, you should see me at Derek's parents house... I go straight for their calender to see "what's up"! So blogging is like awesome to me! I get to read/see what's happening in other's lives without being rude about it. I don't really think I have that much to say (at least not enough to fill a blog) but let's face it. I love to talk so the chances are high that I will fill up a blog! :)
